Frequently Asked Questions

Short-term rentals are great for 1-day to 2-weeks needs. Subscription is a flexible weekly plan for 2+ weeks — with simplified pricing and fewer headaches.

Every booking includes a Loss Damage Waiver (LDW). This is not insurance, but a contractual waiver of liability that limits your financial responsibility for vehicle damage.

Here's how it works:

  • You pay a refundable security deposit of around $400 at pickup.
  • If the vehicle is damaged, your deposit is used first to cover repair costs.
  • If damage exceeds the deposit, you're only liable up to a capped excess: $1,500 standard, or $2,500 if you're under 25.


LDW means we waive our right to recover the full cost of damage from you, in exchange for that capped excess limit.

We accept valid Australian driver's licences and most valid international licences. For non-Australian licences, we require a copy of your passport. If your licence is not in English, you may need an International Driving Permit.
